A business owner first. In search since 1993.
Ron Reichert didn’t come to the web from a marketing agency. He came to it as a business owner, running his own Calgary service companies for 25 years. He began building websites in 1993, founded Transactions Inc. in 1998, and was named inventor on a US patent application for map-based business search in 2000. In 2010 he sold his companies and went full-time with internetWorld.ca Corp. — and clients still deal with him directly.

Founds and runs his own Calgary service companies, Mr Tap Mechanical and later Mr Drain, for 25 years — learning first-hand what it takes to keep the phone ringing.

Gets online
Starts building websites and working on search visibility — five years before Google launched.

Founds Transactions Inc.
Builds a team of professionals to develop Go4Biz, an internet platform for finding trades and businesses online.

Named inventor on a US patent application
Transactions Inc. files a US patent application for linking business information to locations on an online map — years before Google Maps launched. Published as US 2002/0042819 A1.

Sells both companies and goes full-time on SEO, web design and digital marketing for Alberta businesses.

Completes the Blockchain Technologies program at INSEAD.

Ron Reichert is the founder and CEO of internetWorld.ca Corp., an SEO, AEO and web design company based in Okotoks, Alberta. He has been active in SEO since 1993 and has run internetWorld.ca Corp. since 2010, serving more than 250 Alberta clients. Before going full-time online, he spent 25 years running his own Calgary service companies, Mr Tap Mechanical and Mr Drain.
Since 1993. Ron started building websites and working on search visibility in 1993, five years before Google launched, and has adapted through every major change in search since, up to today’s AI answers in Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot and ChatGPT. He founded internetWorld.ca Corp. in 2010 to do this work full-time for Alberta businesses.
Ron holds two Google Ads certifications through Google Skillshop, Search and AI-Powered Performance, plus the Microsoft Advertising Search certification, and he renews all three every year. He also holds five Coursera cybersecurity certificates and a Blockchain Technologies certificate from INSEAD (2019), and is named inventor on US patent application 2002/0042819 A1.
Because he has been on the other side of the counter. Ron owned and ran Calgary service companies for 25 years, so he knows what a slow January feels like and what a hacked Google profile costs in missed calls. He builds websites and search strategies around how Alberta businesses actually win work.
