Why we do this
This Isn't New for Ron.
Back in the early 1990s, Ron Reichert was running Mr. Tap, his Alberta plumbing company. When the Alberta Lung Association needed help, Ron didn't send a cheque. He showed up. He cut vinyl signs, made banners, donated materials and gave his time, crediting his company for the donation so others could see that local businesses could lead by example.
That was over 30 years ago. The tools have changed, and Ron now builds websites instead of cutting vinyl, but the instinct is the same: local expertise, donated to a cause that deserves it.
"I gave my plumbing company the credit, but it was always about the community. That hasn't changed."

Ron’s time and the work are free. The website build, 12 months of hosting, year-one maintenance and a basic SEO setup are fully donated by internetWorld.ca Corp. Your organization covers only the out-of-pocket costs we can’t absorb: a $95 template license fee and your domain name, plus any premium plugins or stock photos you choose. Think of a tradesperson who donates the labour but can’t donate the materials.
We prefer to work with registered Alberta non-profits, community centres, sports clubs and charities. However, non-registered organizations with a clear community mission may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Tell us about your cause and we’ll review it fairly.
Two per quarter. We accept two organizations each quarter on a first-come, first-reviewed basis, and Ron Reichert personally reviews every application within one week of submission.
Once selected, your website is built and launched within 30 days, often faster. We work efficiently because we use high-performance premium WordPress templates that are pre-configured for speed, reliability and mobile visitors.
Yes, a basic setup. At launch, Ron sets up your page titles and descriptions and connects the website to Google Search Console so search engines can find it. Ongoing monthly SEO is not part of the donation.
At the 12-month mark we review the hosting arrangement. We aim to continue where possible but reserve the right to discontinue hosting with reasonable notice. Your cPanel access means your content is always yours, and you can move to another host at any time.
Yes. You get full cPanel and WordPress access, so anyone on your team with basic WordPress skills can update content without a developer. All content must stay legal, appropriate and consistent with the mission in your application. internetWorld.ca Corp. may suspend or disconnect the website immediately and without notice if content breaks Canadian law, misrepresents the organization or strays from its charitable purpose.
The donation covers the build, hosting and maintenance for year one, plus a basic SEO setup. Not included: domain registration, premium third-party plugins, stock photography, ongoing monthly SEO, custom coding beyond the template, WordPress training, and email setup beyond basic cPanel accounts. Any out-of-pocket costs are discussed and agreed before we begin.
Yes. You own your website and all your content. The WordPress template runs on a pre-purchased license held by internetWorld.ca Corp., and a $95 template license fee must be paid in full before any work begins. It is the only fee we charge. Once paid, the license and the website are yours to host anywhere, with anyone, at any time.
Your organization must operate within Canadian federal and Alberta provincial law, and your website, fundraising and conduct must match the mission in your application. internetWorld.ca Corp. donates infrastructure and expertise; it does not endorse your activities. We may disconnect hosting immediately and without notice if we learn of illegal activity, misrepresentation or conduct that conflicts with our values as an Alberta business.
Yes. internetWorld.ca Corp. reserves the right to pause or cancel the program at any time. Once an organization is accepted and the build has begun, our commitment to that organization is honoured in full.
